About us

Welcome to Town of Unionville Volunteer Fire Department

Founded in 1959, the Town of Unionville Volunteer Fire Department provides fire, first response medical services, rescue services, and fire prevention education to the greater Unionville Community.  The department is supported by more than 40 volunteer and paid staff members and operates out of two stations.

Our seal, shown below, represents the close relationship with the Town of Unionville which was formed in 1911 (and later re-chartered in 1988).  An interesting fact:  The Town of Unionville's original charter listed the fire department as the town's Constable!    Hanging in the old oak tree, is the Unionville School bell honoring those who educate our children from Kindergarten through the 12th grade.  Finally, the cross and family represent the close-knit community and our reliance on God to direct our paths.
